We have a new shipment of the REV’IT Tracer overshirts available in-store. The Tracer overshirt is a thinner lighter weight “jacket” that is far more technical than you might think. It has modern styling but also has great protection. Features include Cordura denim outer layer which on its own outclasses the combination of regular denim and aramid commonly used in motorcycle jeans. By adding REV’ITs in-house developed PWR | shield, the abrasion resistance even surpasses good old leather! WTH? Yep, this jackets abrasion rating was 5.9 seconds and leather is at 4.12 seconds of abrasion resistance. Modern motorcycle gear can be awesome and stylish.
They also use a CE1 super soft and thin SEESMART elbow and shoulder protection pads which are lightweight, highly ventilated, high temperature tolerant and flex to fit your body. (It actually surpassed CE1 and EN1621-1:2012 ratings) There is a also a back panel that is ready to hold a SEESMART CE2 rated back panel (sold separately).
Thanks to its unique characteristics, polycotton stretch denim can be laminated with REV’ITs renown hydratex® membrane. The result: a 100% waterproof and breathable 3L outer shell with little to no water pickup, perfect for the Tracer overshirt. Thats right, it’s mechanically stretchy for a good fit and comfort while riding or walking around town.
There is a hidden front zipper under a button up front (in really warm weather, we like to leave it half zipped and buttoned up over). It also has a short connection zipper in the lower back panel to attach to your riding pants or REV’ITs Safeway belt connector. Thoughtfully placed reflective strips add night visibility. And finally, it has an internal liner that helps wick moisture and keep you dry and cool.
Fitment: As with most European designed gear, these are slim fitting. An average big American motorcyclist may need to go up one size to get a proper fit. Stop into our downtown Cincinnati location and try one on for size. Or head over to our online store and secure yours today!
