1967 Hercules Saxonette Supermatic Auto 222 TS $3200

This is likely the only one in the U.S. and runs great! The Saxonette Supermatic is a 2-Speed auto, 2-stroke moped made by Hercules & Sachs. It uses a Bing Carburetor, Sachs 2-speed automatic motor, 18” white wall tires, and even a 1983 German Moped license plate. The original owner imported the bike with him from Germany and used it to ride to school in Detroit. It’s a great little moped that is surprisingly fast!

This is not a good daily driver, as it is a rare collectible. And as any bike this old, is meant for parades, bike night, motorcycle shows, etc. It does run great and i’ve ridden it around the neighborhood several times. It would make a great addition to your rare motorbike collection.

Hercules was a bicycle manufacturer in Germany in the late 1800’s and made its first motorcycles in 1904. Hercules was purchased by ZF Sachs in 1963. In the 1950s and 1960s Sachs was the largest European fabricator of two-stroke motorcycle engines. Many of these engines were used in the Hercules line of small motorcycles, scooters and mopeds. The bike does not have a battery, it starts by pedalling really fast and then letting out the compression lever. Runs off the stator/magneto. Part of my personal collection that I’m letting go. It’s not perfect but it is a great example of the tech at the time. Comes with a box of additional parts.

I cannot find one of these anywhere in the USA. I’ve found newer and different models in the Barber Motorcycle museum but none this old or of this model. This is part of our former owner, Tim Burke’s personal collection. You can reach him at:

1963 Ducati Bronco 125

– Rare little 125cc single cylinder Italian bike with title, motor has been cleaned up but its not yet running. Currently undergoing renovation.

Price as is: $1950 – Once cleaned up, repainted and running: $3500 (estimated)  Contact Tim Burke for an appointment to see the bike in Hyde park.

We’ve removed the motor and cleaned it, cleaned the sump oil pan that had 60 years of old gummy oil in it, replaced the gasket and added new hex bolts. We removed and cleaned the carburetor.  The front forks appear to be bad but we bought another set of used forks that we plan to rebuild. Or we may use more modern forks for it (such as a Honda 125 fork or something from SSR). The tank has been cleaned but it needs to be repainted. We bought a NOS clutch cover ($350 because its very hard to find. It is in mint condition.) The bike needs rewiring, new tires, a replacement speedo/tach in the headlight bucket, and new exhaust.
So essentially, its a project bike.  A hard to find early Ducati and well worth the restoration work that it will require. Clean title in hand. This is part of our former owner, Tim Burke’s personal collection. You can reach him at:

1974 Honda CB360T Project Bike SOLD

The frame has been professionally powder coated by Killer Coatings, it has new rear shocks, new tires, new wheels and spokes, many parts cleaned, painted, but not all. Its a project that has sat now for several years during Covid and I need to make room in the shop. We had torn down this bike as part of a community build project that stalled when Covid hit. Includes all the original parts (most bagged and marked), many new parts that were purchased (over $925 invested already) and boxes of additional parts. We also have another CB350 frame with wheels/tires (no motor, tank, etc.) as a spare or future project. And a third frame. None have titles but I could assist in the process of getting a new title. Many spare parts in storage such as seats, boxes of pull off mirrors, turn signals, etc. etc.

If you are into CB350’s or CB360’s from the 1970’s this would provide you with a great collection of spare parts and items needed to rebuild this bike. Essentially, after many years of working on Honda CB350/360 bikes, I’m clearing out all of my parts with this project bike.

Our former shop owner, Tim Burke, also has a lot of Misc. CB350 parts, frames, wheels, forks, etc. available for sale. Contact him at:

BMW G650X Moto – $4500 $3,995!

The BMW G650X was a series of motorcycles produced from 2006 to 2009. The three models were: the G650 Xchallenge, the G650 Xmoto, and the G650 Xcountry. This is the G650 Xmoto which was only brought into the USA for one year, 2007. The same updated Rotax engine first seen on the BMW F650 was shared among the three models. The single-cylinder, four-stroke, 652cc engine was liquid-cooled and features DOHC. The 652cc engine produced 53 hp and 60 Nm of power and torque at 7000 and 5250 RPM respectively. The three models shared all major components and are differentiated by their fairing and wheel sizes, therefore, the models vary in weight.

This is a very hard to find BMW Super moto that is becoming very collectible. Some people convert it to a dirt bike with larger wheels/tires. Parts are widely available at Wunderlich.
